This year will be 30 years since three ex-pupils, Julie Sykes, Alison Penfold and Melanie Walsh, left Sponne School. These three ladies are organising a reunion to take place at Sponne School on either 14^th July or 21^st July, whichever date is most popular. They would love to hear from any ex pupils who attended Sponne between 1972 to 1977 (1st - 5th form, as it was then). Alternatively, if there are any parents still in the locality who's children attended Sponne during this period could they please let their, now grown up, children know of the reunion or alternatively relay contact details for these ex pupils. The reunion will last from 7.00p.m. until 11.00 p.m. The aim is for a fun evening, reminiscing about Sponditz days. The ladies plan on having some background music but not a disco as there will be a lot of catching up to do after 30 years!

The ladies plan to provide wine, beer and some form of nibbles, nothing too elaborate, and with the hire of the hall, admin costs and public liability insurance, they estimate a small cost of between £5 and £15 depending on the number of people who attend. Obviously the more who come, the cheaper it is for everyone! These ladies really hope ex pupils and teachers alike can make it, as they feel it will be fun to catch up with everyone after all this time.
